Heard great things about this place from my barber today and decided to stop by for lunch. Ordered tri tip with green beans as a side, as well as a cornbread muffin & sweet potatoe pie. The food was all excellent. Meat is tender, bbq sauce is tasty, and the pie is out of this world (basically flambe'd). The family that runs the restaurant was a pleasure to converse with. Will definitely be back & highly recommend for quality bbq. No pics with the review unfortunately because we ate it too fast.

First time here trying out Dad's BBQ in Walnut Creek! So delicious as it reminded us of the great BBQ when we lived in North Carolina. We had the chicken lunch, collard greens and green beans! Great, friendly and attentive service too! Will definitely be a regular.
